Stobart Rail have appointed J McArdle Contracts as earthworks and Stabilisation sub-contractor at Stobarts London Southend Airport runway extension. Following on from our access road stabilisation works, McArdle will once again, in a cost effective and environmental manner stabilise the insitu material, a win/win situation for all parties.
This runway extension is one of the final pieces of the jigsaw required to allow the airport to become a fully functional regional airport in time for the 2012 Olympics. When complete, the new runway will allow the airport to operate passenger services to destinations across Europe.
