Specialist contractor provides band drainage solution within tight timeframe

 

First Geotechnics Ltd, Part of McArdle Stabilisation, have recently been awarded a contract by Pennine Vibro to install band drainage on a large site in the Manchester area.

 

The band drainage is being installed to accelerate settlement within the soft clay at depths of up to 12 metres in order to facilitate future development of the site. Two rigs have been deployed on this contract working simultaneously to help the client meet their contractual deadlines.
