Skanska award The McArdle Group the Soil Stabilisation contract for the Weymouth relief road.

Contract consists of assessment and

stabilisation

of 60,000 sqm of chalk covering a 7km stretch of the carriageway to provide a Class 3 foundation. Trial to be completed during September 2009 with main works spring 2010. McArdle will employ laser controlled equipment to ensure accuracy to plus or minus 1cm to ensure high productivity.
