McArdle Stabilisation Ltd unearth 3000 year old grave

McArdle Stabilisation have discovered a child’s grave, estimated to be 3000 years old, on a site south of Winchester.

The find happened as McArdle and archaeologists were in the final section of the site prior to bulk excavation by McArdle.

McArdle Stabilisation are providing cut to fill, and soil stabilisation for Winchester’s latest park & ride car park.

This is the second contract for Hampshire County Council, where flexible pavements will be laid directly on McArdle’s stabilised sub base replacement.
