Description:
Main Contractor Morgan Sindall have appointed J McArdle Contracts as earthworks and stabilisation sub-contractor at their 400kV Stoke Bardolph Electricity Sub-station site, near Nottingham.
The sub-station is being built at the request of local electricity distribution company, Central Networks, for electricity supply to Gedling, the city of Nottingham and South Notts to meet growing demands.
McArdle will use their Soil Stabilisation expertise to allow re-use of the site won soils in the sub-station platform.
Integrated rotovating plant will be used on site in order to minimise dust on this environmentally sensitive site.
