Description: Construction of a new taxi rank adjacent to the St George development
Works to be carried out within an area of existing footway whilst maintaining pedestrian routes at all times
Works comprise the following:
Removal and storage of existing street furniture
Removal of existing paving and kerbs
Removal of redundant storm water drainage
Reduced level excavation to form new taxi rank
Construction of new storm water drainage including manholes
Construction of new slot drainage
Installation of service ducts
Installation of new granite kerbing
Construction of planters including irrigation, planting of shrubs /trees and lighting
Surfacing of new taxiway
Reinstatement of street furniture
