McArdle Ground Improvements have begun work on Stevenage’s new 90 bed care home after attending a sod turning ceremony by the local MP.
The scope includes stripping the site, cut to fill, soil stabilisation and type 1 fill, in preparation for the piling contractor.
Due to the proximity of nearby houses, McArdle are stabilising with one of their integrated Wirtgen’s, which spreads and mixes the binders, with the soil, in one operation, in this case lime and cement.
