Description:
Embankment repairs on the A2 Kent near Dunkirk.
- Embankment slip repair at gate services. This section consists of the removal of unstable / unsuitable material, the construction of a gabion wall , replacement of fill with imported structural fill, toe drain works and the rehabilitation of the existing footpath.
- Repairs / rehabilitation of a crib wall . Careful removal of sections of the crib wall and replace with a new gabion wall or rehabilitate damaged sections by utilising crib wall components from the replacement section of the wall. •All works will be undertaken under traffic management with some of the works being undertaken under evening lane closures.
