The EIC
The Environmental Industries Commission

At McArdle, we are committed to a dynamic, responsible and innovative approach in everything that we do. Within our company and industry, we promote awareness of the commercial and environmental benefits of environmental technologies.
To support our ongoing environmental responsibilities and commitments, the McArdle Group is a member of the Environmental Industries Commission (EIC).
The EIC was launched in 1995 to provide environmental technology equipment and services suppliers with a strong and effective voice to influence the debate on the future of the industry among policymakers in Westminster, Whitehall and Brussels.
Environmental solutions
The EIC represents McArdle and other companies providing solutions to the main environmental problems, including water and air pollution, contaminated land, waste, transport pollution and climate change.
The organisation has the support of leading politicians from all the major political parties, as well as industrialists, trade union leaders, environmentalists, and academics.
The EIC promotes constructive co-operation between the regulated, the regulators and the environmental technology suppliers who serve them. Over 300 companies are now members, and the number is growing rapidly.
Innovative
Through its innovative Sector Working Groups, the EIC actively promotes a supportive legislative and fiscal framework that emphasises cost-effective policies, coherent standards and practical solutions.
The EIC also facilitates the exchange of information and experience on R&D, market opportunities, funding and training.
