The McArdle Group has provided practical support on numerous projects on an Early Contractor Involvement basis.

This service is provided by our own management team and staff in support of our range of site based services. This will normally involve the development of project designs, risk management, programming, method statements and budgeting. Liason with regulators and other project stakeholders is also carried out.

Recent projects undertaken on an ECI basis have brought the following benefits;

• Detailed modelling, programming and resourcing of complex earthworks on highway widening projects has managed associated project risks and provided a high degree of project duration and out-turn cost certainty. This had led to a successful tender return for our client, a successful project and repeat business.
• Development of a fully detailed method statement to demonstrate safe remediation of sensitive development project. Expert witness examination at planning appeal hearing. The planning appeal was successful, allowing development to proceed after over twenty years of planning delays.
