Vertical band drain systems have been installed by the McArdle Group for almost twenty years.

The system facilitates the removal of excess water from soils to allow faster consolidation and settlement of soil strata subject to surcharge loading.

The technique has been applied to the following types of developments;

The system can provide a flexible drainage design to overcome varying ground conditions and consolidation periods, and involve a simple and rapid installation process that can allow 10,000 linear meters of vertical drain installation per day.
