This project was part of a series of contracts successfully completed by the McArdle Group at Imperial Wharf, a prestigious residential development on the banks of the Thames.
Works undertaken during the five-month contract period included:
- Bulk earthworks involving the segregation and stockpiling of contaminated soils, installation of a capillary layer
- Disposal of contaminated soils to appropriate landfill site
- Recycling of broken out concrete through crushing and screening
- Pile probing and removal of obstructions
- Pumping and processing of contaminated groundwater
- Pile mat construction
- Hard and soft landscaping to river walkway
