The McArdle Group undertook the external works for Block A of the Battersea Reach development in Wandsworth, London SW18.
Block E was a multi-storey development comprising a basement car park, ground-floor commercial space and 14 floors of residential apartments. This contract was for the external works including:
- Boundary wall works – concrete retaining walls, concrete coping, render, gates, posts and railings
- Hard landscaping works – planters, paving stones, sub base and base courses, kerbs and edgings, timber decking, asphalt surfacing
- Preparation for waterproofing works
- Waterproofing works
- Basement plant room tanking
- Basement white lining
- Irrigation system
- External lighting
- Metalwork and timber street furniture
- Drainage
Battersea Reach is an exclusive Thames-side residential development on a former distillery and oil storage/distribution site. The McArdle Group has also undertaken a number of other works packages as part of a term contract for the development.
