The McArdle Group undertook the bulk earthworks for Block A within the Battersea Reach development in Wandsworth, London SW18. Block A was a multi-storey development in a restricted area in the middle of the city.
Works included:
- Site clearance including extensive Japanese Knotweed disposal and control
- Steel sheet piling
- Bulk excavation including contaminated land protocol
- Removal of large underground tanks and contents
- Disposal of contaminated soils
- Pile probing and removal of obstructions
- Pile mat
- Pile attendance
Battersea Reach is an exclusive Thames-side residential development on a former distillery and oil storage/distribution site.
The McArdle Group has also undertaken a number of other works packages as part of a term contract for the development, from enabling works to disposal, external works, hard and soft landscaping and roadworks.
